Frequently Asked Questions

Who is this course best suited for?

This course is for anyone who needs practical, nationally recognised prehospital emergency skills for events, security, emergency services, or high‑risk workplaces

FREC4 is the natural progression from FREC3 — it builds on FREC3’s foundational prehospital-care skills to expand your scope of practice and clinical competencies for more advanced roles, including on your journey to be a paramedic.

If you prefer a more streamlined option, we recommend the First Aid at Work (FAW) course for appointed workplace first aiders; broader than Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) but still less clinical and less extensive than First Response Emergency Care courses.
