Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)

This one day course will give the candidates the skills, knowledge and confidence to be able to safely deal with immediately life-threatening injuries in the workplace and certain life-threatening conditions.

Course Details:

This course is RQF and Ofqual regulated.

The Emergency First Aid at Work qualification is a recognised Qualsafe Qualification and is valid for a three year period. Upon the expiry, the same course must be taken again to maintain the Qualification.

  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

  • Burns and scalds

Assesments:

  • Ongoing assessment by the instructor of the candidate’s practical skills
  • Successful completion of a twenty question multiple choice paper (pass mark – 15)

Recomendations:

Should you work in a high-risk working environment we would strongly recommend the Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work qualification.
