First Aid at Work - Requalification

This course is designed to give students with a previous First Aid at Work Qualification the opportunity to revalidate their qualification, without having to resit a full 3-day course. It updates delegate’s knowledge and informs of any changes or new policies and procedures regarding First Aid.

Course Details:

This course is RQF certified and Ofqual regulated.

There is no longer a 28 day transition period for revalidating your certificate. Re-qualification must be carried out BEFORE expiry of your previous qualification.

  • Secondary assessment
  • Breathing and circulation
  • Principles of resuscitation
  • Disorders or respiration
  • Disorders of consciousness
  • Foreign objects
  • Burns and scolds
  • Bones, joints and muscle injuries
  • Poisoning
  • Incident training

Assesments:

The practical Learning Outcomes are assessed by observation.

  • MultiChoice Questions (MCQ) for theory and underpinning knowledge.
  • The Practical demonstration of skills.

To be awarded this qualification the Learner must 100% pass of the assessments carried out by observation together with a percentage pass in the MCQ paper.
